On Sunday 3rd July 2022 at the PROACTION Academy, we will be hosting our very own in house Martial Arts Tournament! This event aims to give YOU, our students an opportunity to participate in a friendly competition alongside fellow students, to compete in the following divisions:

Taekwon-Do patterns (TKD students only)

Sparring (TKD and Kickboxing students) OR Flag Sparring for <12 yrs White to Brown Belt (TKD) and White – Red Belt (KB) (who don’t have sparring equipment)

Special technique – Flying High Side Kick (TKD and Kickboxing students, age 17 and under)

Power/Breaking (TKD students aged 18 years and over).
This will be a fun and exciting event and we expect to see representation from all our student base ranging from age 6 to adults across all grades. All students must participate in at least one tournament as part of the syllabus requirement prior to Black Belt testing. We hope this tournament will also inspire individuals that would like to represent the club at future external tournament events.
The cost will be £20 for all entries whether doing one division or all…..so why not enter them all?! We would love all our students to feel supported and confident, therefore it is compulsory that you have somebody of adult age and responsible, with your child (whether that is you or a friend is fine, but not an instructor – our team will be busy running the event). Please bring your own ‘mess-free’ lunch.
The day will start with registration at 08:30. Competitors age 12 and under will start at 9.00am aiming to conclude that session with medal presentations at approximately 2pm, with the 13yrs + and adults to register at 2pm to start at 2.30pm and conclude with medal presentations at 5.30pm approx. These days can over run which those of you who have experienced competitions will be well aware of, so we do request your patience and understanding as we aim for the day to run as smoothly as possible. Often parents and family members are asked to help with aspects of the day to enhance the experience and this helps everyone feel integral on the day.
The PROACTION Instructor team are inviting all students to enter the competition, and this is your invite! The event will be well staffed so familiar faces will be all around on the day. Deadline for payment and forms is Saturday 25th June.
The In House Competition will be held at: Proaction Academy, 15 Osyth Close, Brackmills, Northampton, NN4 7DY
In order to enter please do so below and select the correct category Kids for any one aged 12 and under and Adults for anyone aged 13+ your Main Training Location (where you normally train), your current belt colour and your discipline (I.E Kids TKD, Adult TKD, Kickboxing etc). Kids will also need to select their height and Adults (13+) will need to select their weight (if your height and weight are not shown then please email enquiries@martialartslesssons.co.uk or call 07717 116115 before entering).
